He has tweeted he will be back to play again. But we have only 9 guys on scholarship so far including Floreal. Sure hope he gets Mulder and/or Murray. But none of this helps the front line. Where it will be Labissiere, Poythress and Lee with only Willis as a relief man. This will be nothing like last years team.

"""UK forward Alex Poythress tweeted Thursday that he is ready to be part of “something special” next season and added a #BBN hashtag at the end. A UK spokesman confirmed to the Herald-Leader that the tweet can be considered Poythress’ “official announcement” that he is returning to Lexington next season.

Poythress requested NBA feedback earlier this month and had until Sunday to declare for this year’s draft.

John Calipari said Thursday that he anticipates adding “one or two more” players for next season. The Cats are still in the mix for McDonald’s All-Americans Jaylen Brown, Cheick Diallo, Brandon Ingram and Malik Newman, but UK is not considered the favorite for any of those players.

Junior college All-American Mychal Mulder is seen as the most likely addition to UK’s roster, and he could commit as early as this weekend. Mulder — a 6-foot-4 shooting guard — averaged nearly 16 points per game and made 44 percent of his three-point attempts at Vincennes University this past season.

The “2” in Calipari’s “one or two” statement could be Canadian guard Jamal Murray, who is expected to visit UK this weekend. Murray is considering a move to the class of 2015, and UK would be a major contender for his commitment if he makes that decision. Oregon is also heavily in the mix for the five-star combo guard who is already projected as a first-round pick in the 2016 NBA Draft."""

I hope his recovery is coming along and he will be ready to go full speed when practice starts.

A healthy Poythress with a jump shot is what I am hoping to see. I am hoping he is working on a knock down jumper.
