So less than an hour after the game, I go to ESPN.com to see what they're saying about today's games. Their top headline is about the cricket World Cup. Cricket? Seriously? Cricket????

Have we become some third-world nation that really cares about cricket scores? I think ESPN has really lost it.

They are obviously appealing to the international market. I find cricket about as exciting as watching paint dry.

The largest watched televised sporting event in the history of the world was...... are you ready for this?

Sunday’s match between India and Pakistan in the ICC Cricket World Cup drew in excess of 1 billion television viewers — which would be the first time a sporting event has cracked the 10-digit mark. BBC Sport:

1 BILLION Viewers

I never could tell the difference between a cricket and a grasshopper.

I bet 999,999,999 on those viewers were in India. The viewer not from India fell asleep and left his TV on that channel.

I use Berkley's Power Bait for trout, on a 2 pound low vis leader, with a #10 salmon egg hook. Bass, a 7", blue fleck plastic worm at night, and 7" pumpkin seed plastic worm before dark, on Kentucky Lake. Looking forward to my first trout trip in a few weeks.
