Some good players in that group but would bet Okafor, Kaminsky or even Wiltjer have the best shot to win the award.

KAT should be on that list. The NBA draft will back me up.

I would bet KAT will be drafted in the NBA before WCS.

I think willie, is the fifth best player on this team. I would put KAT, Trey, Devin, and Aaron, ahead of him. Just my personal opinion.

It also wouldn't be a surprise if both of them are lottery picks.

rlt, we all have different opinions of players and that's the fun of being a fan. I think when these NBA lottery picks are made the teams don't always pick the player that they think is the best but what they need on their team the most.

Gonzaga has two finalists -- Pango and Wiltjer.

Wow.

I'd say those awards are Okafor's to lose!

It's a open race and a lot can happen between now and the end of the season.

I still beleive those are more a popularity contest thoguh! Kind of like Miss America!

It might be a popularity contest but I do think their are more Kentucky fans than there are Duke fans. The Big Blue Nation runs far and wide.

Down here in Florida we see a lot of UK bumper stickers but hardly that say Duke.

Problem is, the national media gets a huge vote in the final decision

rlt, it is hard to rank them as we do have so many good players. I guess it's in the eyes of the beholder. I think however we can all agree the players on this team are very good players and some of them will make it to the NBA.

Tt, Pangos is a awfully good guard that shoots 45% on his 3's for Gonzaga.

I saw where they beat San Diego last night!

Most of theo boys on this squad will make it in the NBA!

I don't think San Diego a very good team.

Pangos played terrible last night going 1-7 on f/g's and 1-6 on his 3 pointers and played 35 minutes.

Wiltzer wasn't any better and went 2-5 from the field and scored 5 points in 31 minutes.

Gonzaga went 3-12 on the 3's and shot 53% from the free throw line.

Gonzaga still won by 20 points 59-39.

I'm sorry. I like Kyle just fine, but Gonzaga doesn't mean squat to me. Also, I'm not the least bit worried about them beating the Cats, no matter where or if we meet them. UK would win by double digits. Write it down!

I'm beginning to think you are right, Norm!

Kyle is a good kid and wish him well in every game except if we play them.

I love WCS, and would love to see him win it.

I'm with you RLT. It's time for WCS to explode!

Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 02-28-2015, 10:32 AM:

If WCS finishes the season strong he has a shot but his numbers need to get better.

I know he's still in the running but will be surprised if he's in the 5 finalists!
Kyle, on the other hand might still be there.

Flashy stats are what reporters see. They don't have time to watch many ball games!

Kyle will be there as I doubt his numbers will drop.
