Here’s something that won’t surprise you: according to ShotAnalytics.com, Devin Booker is the most efficient shooter in the SEC.

What’s that based on? Right now, KT Harrell is statistically the best 3-point shooter in the SEC at 45.2%, with Booker is right behind him at 44.7%; however, Shot Analytics uses the Points Above Expectation statistic, which measures the points a player scores per 100 attempts from a collection of shot locations compared to how many an average shooter would score from those same locations. According to that stat, Booker is the king of the SEC shooters.

It's not surprising to Cat fans although he hasn't shot the ball that well since SC, Bama, and A&M.

To make a run in the NCAA tournament we will need Booker to be making 3's. You can bet teams would rather give us 3 point shots and pack it in down low to prevent easy baskets.

Those 12 footers will be a big key too!

Let's be honest, every shot we take will be key! I hope we can get it down low to our bigs.

When you shoot 49% from the field you have done well!

True, as long as you're opponent doesn't shoot in the 50's

That's where a good defense comes in to play and where we shine.
