John Calipari was a cheerful man on today’s SEC Coaches Teleconference, telling reporters that he’s very pleased with his team right now. “Kids have been great. They’re responding,” Cal said. “We’re getting closer to having every player be the best version of themselves.”

Cal said that Kentucky is on “warp speed” in player development, singling out Karl Towns and Andrew Harrison for their progress. “You’re talking about a big man with skills,” Cal said of Karl. “Within two, three years when he gets weight in his butt and thighs, oh my gosh.”

Just gonna leave that one right there, Cal. Now, about Andrew… “When Andrew plays where he’s attacking the lane, he’s a totally different player,” Cal said. “As good as any guard in the country.”

After his recent run, how could you argue?

Cal has to be really excited to see his Cats playing so well and getting even better by the game.

If we can get better stat-wise from our last game against Auburn we are going to be one scary team.

We sure have the talented player's and even better is our depth. We have qualified back up's at least 2 deep in every position.

Foul trouble hasn't been a concern all season long now!

Foul trouble has not even close to being a factor in any game. Our depth is one of our best allies.

Our defense has been a big part of our offense and has started a whole lot of fast breaks.

It's actually our best offense, Fast break points!

Can't argue with that, when we run we are tough to beat.

That's why I always hope teams chose to run with us!

I just hope we keep pressure on whoever we play and run them to death! Our depth is our biggest ally!

I think that's the thing that amazes me most. When an opponent decides they want to run with us. REALLY? You do realize what the challenge is, right?

I think Arkansas will try and run with us on Saturday. They average 80 points a game to our 74.7

They also have attempted 540 3 pointers compared to our 455. So they aren't afraid to shoot the 3.

Where we have the big advantage is our rebounding and big men down low. It also helps we are playing at home and w look to have another double digit win.
