Lots of people looking for something bad about our basketball team today. The fact remains that our Cats are still 20-0. Don't despair!

I thought it was a solid win for the Cats. I dozed off a few times, with all of the fouls being called.

I will gauge my level of anxiety at the end of the SEC tourney, going in to the Big Dance. If they are full stride at that time. all the fans should be happy. I predict they will be be a well oiled machine by then.

I think we're seeing the team "pre-peak". If this team peaks at the right time, gets all parts of the game working at the same time look out.

That' what we're waiting to see. I would say we are about 4 weeks away from that peak. If we can keep it together until 28 Feb when we play AR at home that's the game we really need to be ready for post season. Then comes at GA and senior day against FL and on to the SEC. We still have 8 games to get to that point. We are really seeing the guards doing the most right now, especially the Harrisons. That's what they need to propel their NBA hopes. Things are starting to settle in and we can start to see who is going to be ready. None of our bigs are really showing much with their offense but they are playing some defense. My thoughts about Willie returning for his senior year are starting to look more real with his play right now. I think he misses his buddy Poythress and could be returning to play with him next year.

I ACTUALLY THOUGHT THEY PLAYED PRETTY GOOD LAST NIGHT HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE REFS, STOPPING RUNS, WE WOULD HAVE BLOWED THEM OUT.

NORM U KNOW US ITS THE NATURE OF THE BEAST. ITS LIKE WHEN U WAS GROWING UP, U COULD BEAT UP ON YOUR BROTHER, BUT NOBODY ELSE BETTER NOT TOUCH HIM. THATS KINDA THE WAY WE ARE.

Maybe Cal should do his "tweak" again. Or, maybe he should wait and do his "tweak" in March.

Norm, I don't think anyone is looking for anything bad about this team. We are discussing basketball here and what some of us think it will take in the form of improvement for them to win six games at the end of the season. I know our Bigs have not played well lately and I think it will take us hitting on all cylinders to run the six game table to win another national championship. I think our fans are seeing changes in our team and wondering why. I don't see anyone that is not happy with our 20 and 0 record and number one ranking. This forum would be totally dead if there weren't differing opinions on our team. I have not seen one fan post what I consider negativity in regards to this team, I just see some, myself included, hoping to see what we consider needed improvement to be able to bring us a national championship. I know Willie probably had his worst game as a cat last night, so did Towns but we still won and that is all that matters. If there is something wrong with pointing out things like that, I need to have my posting privileges revoked. I express my feelings but am not in the least negative about this team and their accomplishments. Maybe I need a course in more positive sounding writing.

Agree Ray - also it's nice when someone(s) has off games and we still roll!

Equally nice to see the twins take over a game when we needed them to!

AMEN! My biggest frustration this season has not been our team. It has been our fellow Catfanatics.

Agree. My problem is I'm trying to coach them to perfection. But I know perfection will never happen. Just too many bodies on the team to get them all doing everything right. But we just need the majority of them doing very well.
