Don't think Skal is eligible because he's not playing ball for a sanctioned school. The only all star game we'll see him in is the Derby Classic in Louisville.

Briscoe is our only committed McD's so far this season. We are in on 8 others that are still undecided!

I bet there are a number of them that may wait to see who goes to the NBA or stays.

9 of the 24 players are still uncommitted...

I figure Cal will probably get a minimum of 2 more!

That's a good guess but I would say 3 more. I think it depend on who and how many leave.

Now we have to guess how many will go after the season is over!

I wouldn't even want to guess on who leaves as I bet none of them have made up their mind other than maybe WCS.

If Towns is a top 5 pick he has to go. THere's no sense gambling with his career!

Unless he picks up his game he will not be a top 5 pick.

KAT currently is our 5th leading scorer with 8.1 points a game however he is only playing a little over 19 minutes a game.

He did not play well against Missouri and is going to have to pick up his game if he expects to get drafted.

I must be honest about Towns, he has a lot of growing up to do. He is somewhat of a hot head and seems to get into a physical struggle with everyone he guards or guards him. His game has actually regressed since he first put on the UK basketball uniform and unless Cal can get him to playing basketball instead of physical tangles, he is playing his way down the draft board. For a player of his size, he lacks fundamentals and needs to spend some time of the bench or play with the second unit. If our bigs don't start scoring some, we will not win the national championship this year. Willie, Lee, Towns and Dakari have no game facing the basket other than dunks and teams now realize our front line players have a hard time beating them so they are playing them one on one defensively, taking away the lob, and now starting to push our guards out of their 3 point shooting comfort zones.

Willie had his worst game as a Wildcat last night and so did Towns and Lee. Lyles is our only front line player that can play both offense and defense and that is what really scares me about this team come tournament time. Maybe the problem with our bigs is the pressure of the winning streak, whatever it is, we need to get them back into the offense soon.

Ray, good post and agree with you on everything except Lyles who has not played up to his capabilities imo. He has the lowest shooting percentage of all our bigs , went 1-5 last night, is shooting 16% on his 3's, 66% on his free throws and averaging 7 points a game.
