This is astounding. I imagine the stomping of the Bruins had something to do with the odds being 11 to 10!

Those are almost even odds. We'll be hard to pick against unless (God forbid) we have more injuries.

I see where Louisville is 14-1 which probably is about right. We will find out more on that Saturday afternoon.

We will learn more about wether UL will make the final four or not by watching how they run the gauntlet in the ACC this year. They may spank every team they face. Somehow I doubt it, though!

The ACC has always been a very good basketball conference but with Louisville it even gets better. I don't see anyone going undefeated that's for sure.

#16 Notre Dame
NC State
#5 Virginia
#2 Duke 0-0
#4 Louisville
Miami (FL)
Georgia Tech
#20 North Carolina
Pittsburgh
Boston College
Clemson
Syracuse
Virginia Tech
Florida St
Wake Forest

I think Virginia is the Big surprise in this group!

North Carolina didn't look too bad this weekend against Ohio State either. SO either Ohio State isn't as good as advertised or UNC is better.

Virginia has a very good team this year and is a team that everyone better had better watch out for. They could be force in the ACC.

I am pretty sure Virginia won the ACC tournament last year and have a solid team again this year.

THenyou have Duke is still unbeaten, Notre Dame is playing pretty well. UNC can be a pretty tough game.

Temple is handing Kansas their BUTT'S right now. Kansas trails by 23 with just under 3 minutes to play!

What's funny is we really don't have that many statistical leaders in the conference brackets, but by the same token we believe in TEAM!

The reason our players don't get the big stats is easy our players don't get the minutes to increase their stats due to the platoon system.

The great thing about this team is they never complain and they always play team basketball and pull for each other. It's a fantastic team both on and off the court.

They also know that in the end they are writing their own pay checks too!

We will lose some of our talented under-classmen no doubt about it but we sure enjoyed them while they were here.

The good thing is we won't lose them all and the beat will still go on. Life as a Kentucky fan is special.

A few of these guys will stay around. That's a great thing!

I think too we will be getting a few talented freshman to go along with those who will be staying.

THE odds have changed again. NOW IF YOU WERE TO BET $110 YOU'D GET $100 IN RETURN!

THE ODDS ARE NOW 10-11

Must be some more gamblers betting money that the CATS will WIN!

I am no gambler but if you bet a 100 dollars and Kentucky wins you still have to get more back than what you bet.

Otherwise you might as well be giving me the money, CMD! [Wink]

Exactly and that's why I believe you would get back 110 dollars back. Maybe we have a TCDer who knows more about gambling than we do. [Smile]

I was in Vegas a couple weeks ago, I put down $20 on UK to win it all. At the time, it was a +140 bet, so figures out to a 7/5 payout. I believe that equates to approx 41.6% chance of happening. It's gone up since then..so, at 11/10, it's a +110, or 47.6% chance. Wow.

And yes, if you bet it at 11/10, you get back 11 bucks for every 10 you bet. So, a $100 bet pays out $110, plus your original $100, so you'd walk away with $210.

Great info and love the Cats but those odds are not good enough to bet any of my retirement fund on.

You have to be a risk taker to be a gambler. CMD.

The biggest gamble I take is pulling out onto the highway in my car every day!

MH, It's risk reward thing with me and in this case it's a very small reward.

I drive by a gambling boat on my way to work every day, but I couldn't tell you the last time I set foot in the place.

They are good places to stay out of as they will hurt you bad if you spend to much time making bets.
