Alford is a class act and is a guy that's hard to pull against.

Alford was asked about the UK game at the half and he stated his team had the worst guard play he has ever seen. His son happens to be a starting guard for UCLA.

Rarely is a coach's son worthy of starting at a top D1 program, if his father is the head coach. UT hired the assistant coach from UL, just to get his son, who was the exception to the rule.

Rupp had his son on the team. But, from what I have read, Herkey rarely played.

Most sons get to play for dad, because of blood ties. It doesn't mean that the kids don't have talent, but they may have not made that particular team, had their dad not been the head coach.
