This game will give all our players a chance to play and work on all the things Cal wants them to do.

It's going to be interesting on how we will defend the 3 point shot because Montana State will be shooting a lot of 3's.

This visiting Montana State team is one of the worst teams ever to play in Rupp.

Ugly game, no fun to watch. We are just not a very good shooting team, good zones are going to give us problems this season.

Why do we schedule teams of this caliber, they are better off practicing between themselves.

Aaron was 1-7 and Lyles was 1-6 and they were all open shots.

Playing teams of this caliber do nothing to help us grow as a team. I agree Bruce, we gain nothing but a win from playing a team like this. I feel sorry for Montana State.

The highlight of the first half was listening to Tony Delk try to explain how hard it is to play a team that has very little talent.

This is the worst shooting Kentucky team I can recall in the Coach Cal era. They are getting good, wide open shots, just not making them.

Playing these type of teams is all about the money. Period. That's why they try to play teams with Kentucky ties. It's just to help them out financially.

According to Matt Jones in the post game radio show, we were supposed to be playing a different team tonight but at the last minute they backed out at the last minute. So we scrambled to find a team to play us and up jumped Montana State. It was supposed to be a team similar to Buffalo, that has a chance to win their conf and face us possibly in the first round of the NCAA Tourney!

Providence College who we play next Sunday will be a decent test as they will be coming into Rupp with out a loss although they have not played of competition other than Notre Dame who they beat by 1 point.

northern ky would have give us a better game, they are div. 1 now, heck play Xavier. stomp on cinci, but let high school teams play high school teams.

From the report I heard last night, the original team they were supposed to play in that slot last night backed out at the last minute so they were scrambling to find a team to even fill that slot.
No mention was made on who the original team was supposed to be!

G-B it would have been good to see a in-state school instead of Montana State. I'm hoping one of these days they play Murray State but there is some history on not playing them.
