Antigua did a lot for the Kentucky basketball and hope he does will at South Florida.

Here’s hoping ESPN is right that Kentucky will face South Florida and coach Orlando Antigua early in the 2015-16 season as part of an event sponsored by the Hall of Fame.

This is Antigua’s first year at South Florida and facing UK in a national TV game certainly would be a boost for his program — and one UK fans would like to see because Antigua was very popular with fans.

Ohio State would take on Memphis in the other game in the doubleheader at American Airlines Arena on Nov. 27, 2015, in Miami.

ESPN reported the format for the event will have each school playing three home games to go with the neutral site doubleheader.
