Good to hear Edrick Floreal get such a high honor and says a lot of UK's sports programs.
Kentucky track and field head coach Edrick Floréal has been named 2015 Southeast Region Coach of the Year and Kendra Harrison repeated as Southeast Track Athlete of the Year. The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced regional awards for the outdoor season on Monday.
Floréal, in his third year heading the Kentucky program, qualified 13 entries for the NCAA’s finals — the most among region teams and is ranked No. 3 in the country. Kentucky finished third at the Southeastern Conference Championships — its best finish since 1982.
