Appears his hiring was a big mistake. Poorest offense UK has had in a few years. Not sure how many games we scored 21 points but it was a lot fewer than we should have.

Kentucky was hard to watch this year because of the lack of scoring. I also seen where the special teams coach was fired too.

I hate to see someone lose a job, but for the sake of the team I am happy with these changes, and glad to know that Stoops recognized they needed to be made quickly. Hope they find the right coaches to replace them, and a quarterback. Texas' backup is going to transfer. He looked pretty good in the couple games he played. Maybe that could be an option.

He was actually the Running Back's and Co-Special Teams coach. I think his name was Jim Settles.

While I am always a fan of letting coaches have a few years to prove themselves, there is no room at UK for mediocrity any more. We pay our coaches very, very high salaries, and they must perform.

I don't know if our offensive line will be able to go back to the old blocking scheme after a year of zone blocking. They finally "got it" in the last couple of games. Now, another change? Yikes.

But the offense looked absolutely horrible all year long. I could tell that Levis was getting really frustrated by the whole thing (not to mention being battered by 4 sacks per game!). And the special teams play was sub-par; we really just had serious issues with our kicker. He really went through a tough time. Honestly, though, if we could just convert our trips into the red zone into TDs, his issues would have been tolerable. But when we fail time and time again in the red zone, he became crucial, and couldn't deliver. Not sure that is on the special teams coaches...

For a quality quarterback to sign with UK, they will have to convince him there will be major improvement in the offensive line.

If not, we will have to narrow our search to a quarterback who is also an imbecile.
