Sticking with the family theme this Father’s Day, Kentucky Football is making sure they hold their strong family ties.
Mark Stoops and the good folks over at the Kentucky Football training facility have hosted a slew of recruits this week on official visits, unofficial visits, and some of their summer camps. While keeping an eye on college football’s newest stars, Stoops and Marrow also made it a point to offer some familiar last names.
Back in April, three-star Moeller tight end Josh Kattus committed to Kentucky. On June 11th, the Kattuses made the short trip down to Lexington for Josh’s official visit. On that visit, Josh’s little brother Tucker caught the eye of the Big Dog.
Standing at 6’4 and 240 lbs in the class of 2025, Kentucky decided to go ahead and offer the younger Kattus.
This was on the heels of Josh telling KSR how much he loved everything about his visit to Lexington, which can only bode well for the recruitment of his brother, Tucker.
Josh Kattus also has great ties with another Kentucky recruit from that area, West Lakota’s Alex Afari. The two future ‘Cats plan on working out together over the summer and have quickly developed a growing relationship.
Afari, a three-star athlete, committed to Kentucky back on his birthday in May, about two weeks after Kattus’ commitment. Just like Kattus, Afari also has a little brother in the class of 2025. Sam Afari was offered Saturday on Alex’s official visit to Kentucky as well.
