Wan’Dale Robinson, the talented All-Purpose Back out of my hometown of Frankfort, Kentucky, has finally made his way to Lexington and will suit up for the Kentucky Wildcats next fall, announcing his intentions to transfers to Kentucky.
Robinson, who originally committed to Kentucky in the fall of 2018, was a consensus four-star recruit coming out of Western Hills High School. Robinson committed to Kentucky and Mark Stoops in November of 2018, before ultimately flipping his commitment to go to Nebraska and second-year head coach Scott Frost. Robinson was the 2018 Kentucky Mr. Football.
In his decision to transfer, Robinson said via his Twitter, that his mother had tested positive for COVID-19 towards the end of last year, leading to her being hospitalized. Robinson said his wished to be closer to his mother due to various health issues and concerns.
