I guess they say a win is a win is a win. After today I'm not so sure of that. We started like we were on a mission for coach Schlarman, but somewhere on the way in search of that we got sidetracked. I left the stadium feeling we had just lost a game we should have won by at least the 17 point predicted. We were there until it looked like we decided to take off the rest of the game on defense. We should have held them to that spread. I guess we all know that this years defense is not close to last years, at least that's my view from close up. We were playing good about half the plays on defense the last half. I'm not so sure we can win any of the 3 remaining games. I don't know how they will determine who goes to a bowl game but I'm not so sure we deserve one. I'll guarantee it won't be close to New Years day. Kudos to Wilson. Most of his plays were good and we hade a decent offensive showing. Why do I really want to go out in December and punish myself at the last game. I just hope the weather gets better than today so I don't freeze to death. Come on basketball.

I think if it weren't for the fact that we put the 3rd string QB into the game halfway through the 4th qtr just to get him some live reps. Allen had a pretty good series but as most of us know, the team operates differently between signal callers.
Also, for some reason, we quit attacking on defense and sat back allowing VU to dink and dunk down the field for a couple of low defended scores.
