I think we are a lot better team from last year, but not quite good enough to pull this one out. Fitzgerald is a difference maker.

I'm hoping that the QB plays a great game with no pics and the D can pressure Fitzgerald.

I still think that Kentucky hasn't tapped in to their TEs enough.

Looks like rain most of the day unless all this mess slides around us to the west and north. If it rains I see a low scoring game with some bad stats for everyone. My original projection was a 3 TD difference, 38-17 MS St. could be a 17-7 game if the field gets slippery. It won't get muddy with the new artificial turf. I'll probably be wearing the latest fashion for a UK Game Day Worker, my gray "Frog Togs" direct from the Berea Walmart. [Big Grin]

Once again this yr I have drank the kool aid and will watch the game. In fact, might as well make a prediction.

I never dreamed our defense would be good enough to keep a top ranked team out of the end zone most of the night!

Our front four is awesome..and Allen is a game changer. He alone made them jump at least four times as they were afraid he would get around them.

That was about as impressive a football performance as I have seen from UK since the Art Still days. Great to beat a ranked team. We could have a very good season this year if the team play every game like they played last night.

I missed this one a mile. The defense was the largest part of the win although the offense had some good yardage also. This defense is what will determine where we end up. I did not believe they would play that well but they are proving me wrong. It started aining before the game and was off and on throughout the game. It didn't seem to affect the play very much, probably because we ran the ball a lot. MSSt got in a hole and had to pass and we just didn't give them very much. Hope we can rise to the occasion next Saturday against SC.

The future is looking better barring injuries.
