While both teams are playing well, only one team can be the favorite. And the college football oddsmakers still have more faith in the Mississippi State football team than they do the Kentucky Wildcats so far in the early part of the season. According to Oddshark, the Bulldogs will play in Lexington as an 11 point favorite to start the week. It could move throughout this week, but this is where the line is starting.
Some people might be surprised that the Mississippi State football team is opening as a road favorite against an undefeated team in the SEC. But the Bulldogs are a top 15 team, and they have been a wrecking ball to the teams they have played so far this season. Plus, the Bulldogs won last year’s game 45-7 with a roster that is mostly the same as it was last year, and you could argue has made upgrades in certain key areas.

MSU is big and physical and a top 15 team so we have our work cut out for us. If we can handle their big strong QB Fitzgerald we have a "chance" but that isn't going to be easy.

As much as I like our team, I feel that their qb is too good. He'll be the difference, IMO. [ 09-19-2018, 10:38 PM: Message edited by: rlt4uk ]

We’ll find out if our defense is truly improved in this game. I don’t think MSU is going to stop us from scoring, but we can’t let Fitzgerald run for 100+ Yards or it’s over. This will be a good game I believe. Go Big Blue!!!

In three games, the Bulldogs have only given up 255 total yards on the ground. We are going to be on the top of our game just to make it interesting.
Fitzgerald their QB accounted for 350 yards and six total touchdowns against Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday. If we can slow him down we have a out-side chance but that won't be easy.

Don't worry guys. Handy, Bama, and I will be at the game. Handy will be calling the plays, Bama will be listening in on the other team's communications, and I will be on the sidelines in my cute cheerleader outfit. This one will be a shoe-in.
Regardless of the outcome, I do look forward to my first UK football game in over 30 years. I am taking my youngest daughter with me, and I will get to meet both Handy and Bama. What more to ask? [ 09-20-2018, 09:54 PM: Message edited by: Tiptree ]

Guys come see me at the tunnel entrance for section 32-34. My recruiting knowledge comes from following it since 1965 (53 years).

Ukcatfannf, I know I just can't tell. I had dinner with Cal and Eiien on Friday night. Ended up talking a lot of strategy for this season.
