There were some pretty simple goals for yesterday's game vs. the Murray State Racers: Win by a lot, rest your starters, see what the reserves can do, nobody gets hurt.
Mission accomplished on all fronts.
The Kentucky Wildcats 48-10 win over the in-state Racers is exactly the kind of performance that the coaches wanted to see after an emotional victory over the Florida Gators. There was understandably an early hangover but it didn’t take long for the Cats to get rolling and pile on the points.
Next up the Mississippi State Bulldogs will be at Kroger Field and the Cats will have their work cut out for them as this will be the most difficult test of the young season.
