Yeah, what a joke. At halftime he says the defense has to improve. Hey Coach, how about having the coaching improve?

I need a job that will extend my contract and pay me $250,000 more to be below average. Unreal. Get paid for scheduling and beating the sisters of the poor, directional schools, and the teams in the SEC that can't even win a game, while getting blown out by one Elite SEC school (UGA), blown out by one middle of the pack team (MSU), losing at home to one below average (Ole Miss), and losing at home to the worst Florida team in the last 50 years.

Then we get blown out by on our home field by the In-State rival.

Yep, extend him another 10 years I say. [Roll Eyes]

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

I read an article the other day stating is the 22nd highest coach in all of football. To me, that is one hell of a joke for a football coach. Why he kept that "dirty player" jones on the field after the way he acted was beyond comprehension. He is a loser and I wish we had anyone but him. He looks like a deer in headlights along the sidelines to me. I am no football guru but I do not feel he is worth the money he is paid. With the non conference record and a down East part of the conference, a half way decent team would have won at least 9 games.

That's ok. He'll either win 8 or 9 games next year or he will be out after the year after next. He has 5 years and I believe the best coach we had was only here 7 years. He has 2 years to $hi+ or get off the pot. It was a completely useless game on our part after we scored our first TD. Snell got all that yardage on that long drive and they wore him out by doing nothing but run Snell, and then we got no points.

The thing that bothers me most is that our defense cannot stop anyone. No pass rush and poor pass coverage. We lost the Florida and Ole Miss games due to defense (well, the Florida game was a total gift to Florida). Offensively, we pretty much are one dimensional run, run, run, but defensively, we can't get it done. I think that it's best not to get hopes up because inevitably, they are dashed. But getting crushed by Louisville does hurt. I guess last year's game must have been a total fluke. And the "incident" in today's game is an embarrassment. If we have to lose, at least have some class.

Kentucky football is about what it's always been for the last 50 years or so, with a few exceptions. Expect more and you're setting yourself up for disappointment. At least we have basketball.

Stoops has UK in a catch-22. His contract is so one-sided in his direction that we are stuck with him, regardless of how many games we win. Sadly, winning 7 games at UK is considered acceptable (which is why he got an automatic extension and bonus) when we should have easily won 9 this year.

The embarrassingly atrocious defense that he has put on the field 5 years in a row is evidence that he is in over his head. I would love for UK to get a new coach, but it simply won’t happen anytime soon. We are stuck with mediocrity for the foreseeable future. Oh well, maybe we can put a beatdown on the dirty birds on the hardwood in a few weeks. Go Big Blue!

P.S. I was real ticked off with Jarren Williams for de-committing TWICE, but I can’t blame him for not wanting to be a part of this embarrassment.

I am as baffled as anyone else. How can a defensive minded coach have a team that is so near the bottom in defense? Makes no sense to me.
