I'm hanging onto the wagon by one finger. Another hard bump and I'll be heading for basketball. From what I can see from being about 20 yards from the east end zone for the third time this season is we do not have the team I thought we were going to have when we started the season. We may be a little better than last year but we are far from what I was expecting.

Our offense is being stymied by a line that lets the defense in way too much. That's just one fault. The other is they either don't know how to create a hole for our running backs or the backs are way too slow to get to the line before it closes.

Our defense may have a great record for defending but I could defend also if I never got to the QB. We have our 4 rushers stopped at the line of scrimmage probably about 90% of the time or worse.

I'm still looking for these linemen on both sides of the ball to start earning their keep. We are in big trouble soon when we face the likes of MS St and GA on the road, and TN and Louis. at home. I we don't win one of those games the best we can do is 7-5. But look out for MO, MS, and Vandy on the road.

I thought 7 w as an easy task this year and maybe even 8 wins but now am figuring 6 may be about all we will get.

I'm so frustrated with the offense. I thought Eddie Gran was the man, but he's not. He's trying to run the ball up the middle to much. We didn't attempt not one sweep, reverse or any type play that would try and stretch the field. EMU put nine in the box and dared us to do something different and coach gran was to stubborn to make them pay. When everyone in the stadium knows what's coming it makes it easy for the other team to defend.

I guess he thinks his two running backs are all americans. We don't have a BIG running back that can crash the line. And the more I look Snell is not that fast getting to the line.

He thinks we're Alabama, and we can impose our will on the other team. I hate to tell him but Damien Harris ain't coming through that door, and neither is Bo Scarborough.

I am concerned that UK has been playing to the level of their competition, not trying to play the best they can.

I am concerned that they have only played two RBs and should have been using a third by now.

I am concerned that the team goes into ultra conservative mode, very early in the 4th quarter and has to hold on for dear life at the end of games.

Would prefer to see them look like they have things figured out and not get caught with too few players on the field or leaving the opponent wide open for touchdown passes.

I don't know about this team. They don't look like I want them to look, but they they are still on track to win 7 or 8, although they play sloppy and uninspired at times.

Not sure what will happen. I was not happy that they left their starting QB on the field to keep getting bruised up and hobbled. They are scared to play another QB, even when their starter should have gotten a rest.
