The 3-star cornerback from Pompano Beach, Fla., picked Kentucky over Auburn and Temple. He’s ranked the 112th-cornerback prospect in the nation and the No. 211 prospect in Florida, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

This from the same article.

Kentucky landed a commitment from Stanley Garner, a fellow 3-star cornerback from South Florida, on Wednesday night.

Brown, from Blanche Ely High School, gives Mark Stoops and company three cornerback commitments and 18 overall in the 2018 class. Offensive coordinator Eddie Gran was the lead recruiter for Brown.

Kentucky is ranked as high as 14 right now for its recruiting class and most project the Cats to end up in the top 25 by signing day.

What came first the chicken or the egg?

You can't win without recruiting great players.

You can't recruit great players at a losing program.

UK is coming off their fist winning season in a very long time.

Should they be able to string solid winning seasons and bowl appearances together, there is no reason why they shouldn't be able to continue to improve recruiting.

2009 was our last winning season until last season.
