Actually, in spite of my post in the BB section, I will continue to follow our FB Cats, and cheer for them, even though the second half of last nights game was like a dagger in the heart of my enthusiasm. I guess it is just too late to change my patterns of behavior formed during my freshman year of 1957-1958.

I think there were 50,000 fans Saturday. I wonder how many we'll have in two weeks? The die hard fans like you will be there. Of course fans still like a good tailgate party and that's a big part of the draw.

In the end the stadium had a whole lot of empty seats. I was stationed between sections 33 & 34 which wasthe family section and the beginning of the student sections. Those were the only areas that still had a lot of folks still there. Of course the family section will always be there to the end to support the kids they have on the team. But the rest of the place started emptying with about 8-10 minutes to go. I am guessing that there will be less seats filled for NM St.
