During a recent conversation with Drew Barker, I asked him if he remembered Jacob Tamme. He laughed and told me he certainly did.

That’s when I asked the UK sophomore quarterback if he thought this might be the year the tight end actually becomes part of the UK offense again — and he quickly said sophomore C.J. Conrad should make that happen.

“I think he will have a great year. He’s a huge target and has got bigger, stronger and faster,” Barker said. “I think he can be great.

“We also have some depth behind him and we have not had that since I have been here. I am really looking forward to throwing to him and all the tight ends. I think he is set up for a big year.”

Greg Hart, the transfer from Nebraska is a beast. He will knock the snot out a D player, be it on a run play, pass blocking down field, or when he catches the ball. I look for them to run some double TE sets, with the talent that they have at that position. But, I don't get paid to coach D1 ball. Wait and see what happens when Mr Hart gets into the game.
