Another congrats is in order tonight, this time for the cheerleaders. Your University of Kentucky Cheerleaders are now 21 time national champions.
The cheerleaders always find a way to astound me any time I see them perform and they definitely deserve this.

I think the Pom squad finished 7th.

Kentucky won eight straight national titles from 1995 to 2002 before finishing second in 2003. The Wildcats then won three straight from 2004 to 2006, falling short in 2007 with a third-place finish. Since Kentucky won its first title in 1985, it has won in 1987, 1988, 1992, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016 more than any other Division 1A school.
