Sophomore receiver Dorian Baker has had several key drops this year, including one n the end zone against Florida that have perplexed Kentucky fans. But his apparent lackadaisical play — and completely missing a block on a screen pass — infuriated some Kentucky fans.

"I was upset about the block as well, but that’s a pass or a run, so he got caught a little bit off guard," said UK coach Mark Stoops Monday. "I saw it on the field, too, and was about to chew him out. But he got caught a little off-balance on that.”

Off balance? Not sure I buy that.

Stoops was also asked Monday about Baker's route-running and overall focus.

“Again, I think that’s an issue where we’ve got to be more efficient offensively. Is he throwing it over the shoulder or is he throwing it back shoulder on some of those? And I saw it as well and watched it and talked about it with the offensive coaches and it’s things we’ve gotta get cleaned up," Stoops said. "But those are issues that sometimes are going to happen. You’re reading the leverage of the defender.”

Stoops can recruit, but he can't coach a lick. That statement says it all. He is too afraid to hold his players accountable.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.
