Kentucky sophomore running back Boom Williams was at practice again Monday and coach Mark Stoops said he was “ready to go” for next week’s nationally televised game against Auburn.

He missed two day of practice last week and did not dress for the Eastern Kentucky game even though he was on the sideline and Stoops said he was not suspended.

“He had some personal issues that affected him and we had to help him through that, and he had to help himself through that. We ask you to respect his personal issues,” Stoops told the media Monday. “As I told you before: If there was a suspension with something off the field with anything, I would’ve told you that.

Austin MacGinnis looks to be ready to go too which will definitely help our kicking game.

UK has upped the level of athletes on the team. That being said, the kick coverage team was not ready for war, with the starting kicker out and they allowed way too much return yardage. Having the starting kicker back is very important for field position as well as extra points and FGs.

By the way, the offensive line played poorly against EKU. Previously, the only game they looked bad was the Florida game. I am aware that 2nd stringers have been utilized, but as unit, they looked bad.
