If we keep playing competitive football the fans will be at Commonwealth every game.
Kentucky did not beat Florida but coach Mark Stoops continues to praise fans and UK administrators for how they have "completely changed" the game day atmosphere.
The last two homes game have had pregame concerts at Commonwealth Stadium and there will be another one this Saturday before UK plays Missouri.
Music in the stadium has been amped up even if some fans have complained it might have been too loud. Players love the music.
"The energy in the first two home games has been incredible. Totally different than when I first arrived," Stoops said on the SEC coaches teleconference. "It’s a credit to all the people who have invested an awful lot in our program with the renovations and what we’re doing here and with the fans buying into what we’re doing and how we’re coaching them and appreciating the amenities of the new stadium as well, so a lot of people are to be commended for the hard work they’ve done and the commitment they’ve given to our program.
"But the fans have been incredible. I’ve said that since I’ve been here, since day one, I’ve said we have a passionate fan base, we just need to do our job and put a good football team out there. I think people can appreciate that we’re getting better and better.”
