He sounds like a smart kid with some football talent.
Georgia athlete Isaiah Brown will be a preferred walk-on in Kentucky’s 2015 recruiting class after playing receiver and cornerback for his high school team in Georgia.
His high school teammate, 6-9 Calvin Taylor, has signed with Kentucky and says UK is getting a solid player in the 6-foot Brown.
“He’s my friend. He is pretty good,” Taylor said. “He’s a real smart guy and never thought playing football was going anywhere for him. Then he just kind of blossomed this year.
“He wants to be a doctor. Kentucky has a real good medical program. He is a National Merit guy and Kentucky is a National Merit school. So him being a preferred walk-on just works on.”
