When you have a quarterback like Prescott who can run and pass it puts a lot of stress on the defense. He has given every team they have played fits and I'm sure we will be no exception.

Kentucky coach Mark Stoops knows what problems Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott can put on his defense Saturday.

“With what they do offensively, schematically and with a guy like Dak running their team it puts a lot of stress on a defense. There’s no easy way” Stoops said. “Any time you incorporate the quarterback with designed runs, you’re going to be short unless you just want to play zero across the board. And that’s difficult to do when they have playmakers outside, so it comes down to being very disruptive up front and guys getting off blocks and making plays.

“They can spread you out or they can play power football with the quarterback running the ball or one of their backs. I don’t know if anybody is capable of completely shutting down a guy like Dak. You just have got to try to contain him as best you can.”

There will be a packed house to see these guys and also to watch the homecoming at halftime. After that I can see the exits being filled shortly into the 3rd quarter, unless by some strange miracle we are still in the game. Less than 2 TDs behind. I would hope we will keep it that close but I am seeing MS ST in the 50s range and maybe even 60 points. These next 3 games are going to be very rough and if we are to be 6-4 we will have to get lucky somewhere in these games.

we cannot hang with miss st, they are too big they will push our offensive line around, we will not be able to run against them, we have really good backs but they are still not them big backs that we need to run in the sec.i can see why Braylen heard transferred from Nebraska, he is not the type of big back Nebraska has. our best back imo is the big back from west chester ohio. them 6ft2 220 pound backs is wat it takes to win in sec. to be a winning football team period you have to be able to run the football.jmo. this miss st. team reminds me of them great bama teams, a couple years ago. run over top of you. Towels has happy feet. Next year I would bet Barker takes this QB job, not saying Towels is not a really good qb. But imo Barker is the best of the 2. I didn't think that earlier, but as I watch. Towels he just don't act like he wants to throw football, and we have the receivers, but its hard to do when u have Happy feet.
