On Friday, the Big Blue Nation’s attention was squarely focused Jalen Duren’s commitment.
Despite less than favorable news on that front, there were some positive developments on the recruiting trail.
Class of 2022 forward Brandon Miller narrowed down his list to eight schools, and you guessed it: Kentucky made the cut.
Miller is considered to be one of the top wing players in the class and littered with superstar potential. One reason that experts believe his ceiling is so high is due to his tenacity as a defender.
At 6-foot-9 and 200 pounds, Miller has the foot speed and agility to guard multiple positions on the floor.
By all indications, he’ll wind up as one of the top defensive prospects in his class. Currently, 247 Sports ranks him as 15th-best prospect in 2022 and the fifth-best small forward.
Miller plays for Cane Ridge High School in Antioch (TN), where he’ll enter his senior season as the top-rated player in the state.
