Cats could use a player like Fisher!!!

The Kentucky Wildcats have struggled mightily on the court this season. That is no secret.

But that does not mean the future of the program is not bright, as John Calipari and his staff continue to stay in contact with the best recruits.

The No. 3 player in the class of 2023, Elijah Fisher, recently spoke to 247 Sports about hearing from Kentucky and where he is in his recruitment.

“No schools have been reaching out to me personally but a lot of schools have been reaching out to my coach,” Fisher said of his recruitment. “Kentucky reached out to my coach and Syracuse and other schools keep checking in on me with my coach.”

He was then asked about his initial thoughts on Kentucky and Syracuse, which seem to be the early schools to make an impact.

“I really like the program, it’s a great program with a lot of history over there and they have a lot of players that go to the pros,” he said of the Wildcats.
