I posted a few weeks ago about this center who plays for Martin County High School. He had committed to WAke Forest. One of you posters mentioned the importance of Coach Manning. I just read yesterday that Coach Manning had been fired and James has decommitted. I do not know if he is good enough to play for UK, but I think he has one more year of high school

You never know how he will improve in his last year of high school. He has come from no rating to #35 in his class. He is 6-10 and 220 lbs. He fills a lot of space under the basket. He is white so he can't jump as high as some of the competition but he blocks shots and rebounds well. He had been recruited by IN, PU, ND, XV, LV, OH St,Marsh. and others. He is probably better than Rob Locke at this same stage. UK would be behind the 8 ball as far as signing him. I would like to see them recruit him now for the 21-22 class. He has the weight but would probably lose a little of that in Cal.s program.

Thanks, Bama
I am interested in him because he is the grandson of my wife's cousin. My wife is from Martin County where Trey lives.

clydeh,
That was me that mentioned Manning. I immediately thought of this kid when I saw the news.
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Trey, I had forgotten who mentioned the importance of Manning, but I'm glad that you did and that Trey may be going elsewhere. Many of you guys know so much than I do, and that is one of the reasons I read this board.

I think Manning leaving could also make the current center there available to play immediately at UK. If he decides on UK.
