UNLV Runnin’ Rebels guard Amauri Hardy is currently on the grad transfer market, and a number of schools have reached out, including the Kentucky Wildcats, according to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.

The significance? Amauri Hardy is the brother of current Kentucky recruit Jaden Hardy, who has been seen as a near-lock to land in Lexington.

Amauri Hardy is a 6’2 guard that could be a replacement for Immanuel Quickley decides to make the jump to the pros, and Hardy could be paired with Devin Askew. Hardy was a junior this past season in Vegas, and he’s a grad transfer who should be able to play next season.

Hardy averaged 14.5 PPG to go along with 3.5 APG for UNLV this past season. Other schools that have reached to Amauri Hardy include the Michigan State Spartans, Oregon Ducks, Memphis Tigers, Arizona Wildcats, Maryland Terrapins and Arkansas Razorbacks.

It’s worth noting that the Hardy family is originally from Michigan but moved to Las Vegas several years.

Jaden Hardy, his younger brother, is the No. 6 player in the class of 2021, and Kentucky currently holds 100% of the crystal ball predictions. Even if Amauri Hardy does not come to Kentucky, I still believe that Jaden Hardy is likely to end up at Kentucky.
