One of the top guards in all of high school hoops has scheduled a visit to Kentucky.
According to 247 Sports reporter Evan Daniels, Skyy Clark will be unofficially visiting Kentucky on February 10, which is one day before the Cats travel to Nashville to face Vanderbilt.
Clark added that Kentucky is one of the schools recruiting him the hardest.
“Kentucky, Gonzaga, Florida State, Arizona and DePaul, those are the top five that have been on me heavy,” Clark told Daniels.
When asked specifically about Kentucky, Clark had nothing but praise for what John Calipari has built in Lexington
“It’s Kentucky, it’s one of the top, if not the top school in the country, just the fact that they are recruiting me at such a young age means a whole lot,” Clark said.
Clark is a five-star combo guard ranked 18th overall in the 2022 class by 247 Sports Composite. The Northridge, California native weighs in at 6-2 and 190 pounds. He currently holds offers from the Arizona Wildcats, Auburn Tigers and Florida State Seminoles, among others.
Kentucky visited the talented guard twice back in the fall, and the latter visit to Clark’s home really stood out to his father.
“We had Kentucky in a couple of weeks ago. That’s a dream come true right there,” Clark’s father told the Herald-Leader. “And it motivates him. Especially seeing Coach (Joel) Justus coming in, it motivated him to go even harder. It’s Kentucky, baby. That’s the cream of the crop right there. That was a special moment.”
Clark himself said, “Kentucky is like a dream school.”
