On Wednesday, Wiseman revealed on Twitter that he was down to the Kentucky Wildcats, Memphis Tigers, Vanderbilt Commodores, Kansas Jayhawks and Florida State Seminoles. None of these are a surprise, even if this is widely to be a Kentucky vs. Memphis decision.
As for what’s next, Wiseman, who played for Penny Hardaway at Memphis East, is scheduled to visit the University of Memphis on Oct. 19-21. That prior connection has the Tigers getting most of the buzz in this recruitment, and that will likely continue this fall.
Wiseman took an unofficial visit to Memphis on Sept. 13 along with 2020 recruits Jalen Green and R.J Hampton. Wiseman is actually recruiting Hampton to reclassify and join him in the 2019 class.
