Recently, head coach John Calipari met with Nnaji for an in-home visit, and during that meeting, the talented big scored a scholarship offer from Kentucky.

A four-star power forward in the Class of 2019, Nnaji also holds offers from the Kansas Jayhawks, Arizona Wildcats, Ohio State Buckeyes, UCLA Bruins, Baylor Bears and Wisconsin Badgers among others.

In an interview with Rivals, Nnaji opened up about his recruitment, and he had great things to say about what Kentucky and Calipari have to offer.

“They’re my most recent offer and one of my first in-home visits. It was great to have Coach Cal come out to Minnesota. It meant a lot. He’s a legend, and I know he does big things with the bigs he gets at Kentucky,” said Nnaji.

“Karl Anthony-Towns, DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis, those are all guys that I look up to and I’m trying to get to the league like they are. I’m trying to figure out a time I can get down for a visit, but I’m not sure when that will be yet.”
