It's good to hear that he is a well rounded athlete and would bet he will turn out to be a solid player for the Cats.
Maryland outside linebacker Jamar Watson became the 22nd commitment in Kentucky's 2016 recruiting class when he announced his decision on Twitter Monday night.
The 6-2, 220-pound Watson visited UK in July and had offers from Rutgers, Virginia and Miami (Ohio).
Here's what he posted on Twitter: "Blessed to say that I have officially committed to the University Of Kentucky! #BBN #StoopsTroops"
Watson is not a highly ranked prospect. Rivals.com has him as a two-star prospect and no other recruiting service has him ranked. However, he's a superb athlete and averaged 11.4 points per game on the basketball team last season.
Previously linebackers Kash Daniel and Roland Walder had committed to Kentucky.
