It sure would be great to sneak a real good recruit out of the state of Alabama.
Alabama senior defensive end Tyreic Martin took an unofficial visit to Kentucky Sunday and told Will Sammon of Opelika-Auburn News.
He already has 16 scholarship offers and hopes to narrow his list to five by mid-July.
Both Kentucky and the University of Louisville are early finalists based on what he told Sammon.
“I think (D.J. Eliot) is one of the best defensive coordinators in the game,” Martin told Samon. “I would like to think that I would stand out in that defensive scheme more than others.”
The 6-4, 260-pounds Martin had 41 tackles and 11 sacks last season.
