That has to be a good sign and if we can sign him we would be a much better football team. Keep your fingers crosses as he would be huge for the Cats.
Among those watching Kentucky’s game with Mississippi today in Commonwealth Stadium is Madison Southern running back Damien Harris.
He did not play in Friday night’s win over Lincoln County that put his team into the playoffs because of a knee injury, but he was not on crutches Saturday as he greeted coach Mark Stoops and UK players. He’s now been to five UK home games this year.
Once again, he was also wearing a UK T-shirt.

With the running game we currently have he would be a year late if he comes here. Yesterday could have been a disaster in his recruiting if we had played like we did at LSU. Instead it was an almost tremendous game. A couple times the crowd got so loud my ears vibrated like I have never experienced. They were determined to make it impossible for State to hear the QBs call. And it worked a few times. That had to be the biggest crowd this year. And the students arrived early, at least some of them. They filled section 106 quickly and also 105 and then filled the 15 rows above the band. We finally sent them to the upper deck above 107. The recruit section 107 was completely filled. The basketball team did not arrive until the 4th quarter and a few of the fans had left so they did get some seats. Only 6 of them showed today. It would be great if they could go to MO and win next week and take the pressure of a 6th win off for the GA game. GA better come to play though because I think they can smell a bowl game at this point. If our luck holds out and they play like Saturday we could end up 7-5.
