In my mind, this is proof positive we need need to arm more of our children and put them on patrol in our streets.

The liberal media, far left celebs and politicians are still vilifying him as a white supremist and a racist even though the people he shot were white and were pointing guns at him.

I hope he sues the socks off all those who maliciously labeled him without any proof, including our president Biden.

Just to be clear, I agree with the verdict.

However, to make this foolish young man out to be a hero is the definition of insanity IMO.

Thought I should edit this. Jarcat, in no way am I saying you are making him out to be a hero with your response.

I think it could possibly the result of growing up without a dad in the house. I agree that it was most likely self defense, but it is even more likely, that the kid is a total dumbass and had no business even being there in the first place.

As the story goes, wasn't he originally hired by an auto dealer to help protect his auto lot from rioters that were basically destroying his inventory?

The video shows Rittenhouse fleeing the attackers before he finally gets knocked to the ground and hit in the head with a skate board?

I watched most of the trial but may have this information wrong.

Him and friends showed up at the car lot and volunteered their help. The owner accepted. If there was an offer of payment, I didn’t hear it There was no “action” at that location but there was at a different place, fires and gunshots. Possibly firecrackers. Rittenhouse went toward that location with the said intention of offering medical aid. The video shows him either confronting a group of protesters and offering medical aid or pointing his AR15 at them, depending on who you want to believe. To me, the video evidence was inconclusive about whether he pointed the AR 15 at them. I believe this was when someone confronted him and started chasing him.

That may not be completely accurate but that’s what I remember.

I agree with Norm, he had no business being there. If I had sat on that jury I would not have convicted him of murder. But that doesn’t mean he is a hero as many on my FB page maintain.

I don't consider him a hero by any means. Now to say that he's guilty of murder? Probably not!

What bothers me more than anything is the lies that the media are trying to pass off to be true! The media should be required to carry responsibilty for lies that they try to push off as truth!
