Just wanted to let everybody know, I'm not mad. I'm just going trout fishing next week and won't have an internet signal. If you want to give me crap, you gotta do it before Monday morning!

Thinking about you last night. We had the kids and grandkids over for dinner.
Our son and family had just st got back from vacation in northern Wisconsin where they had rented a house on a small trout river. River had both brook and brown trout. They didn’t catch many but had a great time canoeing and kayaking.
Saw a video of class 1,2 and 3 rapids. They tried them all. They are fools.
Have a good time. [ 08-15-2020, 08:37 PM: Message edited by: handycat ]

hc ... I went rafting for the first time about a month ago here in Colorado on a 3-4 and it was so much fun. River was cold (60 degrees) and the guide told the two of us we needed to try the 4 further up river next spring (late May early June). All day rafting and stopping and having lunch. He said it is too low on water this time of year. The water is usually a bout 40 degrees then and we would probably see lots of wild life. Gonna try it.

Mel, I also have a water adventure coming up. Mine is on the Florida coast where I set every year on a deck looking at the ocean and other things.
No idea what the water temperature is as I never get in. I do drink a lot of coffee and an occasional beer.
I do see quite a bit of wildlife on the beach and the pool below us. Mona is not at all interested in wildlife but I find about half of it fascinating. [ 08-16-2020, 03:07 PM: Message edited by: handycat ]
