How much longer do you think he lasts? Either he resigns or he’s fired. I don’t believe for a minute that this is some conspiracy cooked up by him and the president.
IMO, the President will simply not tolerate this kind of talk from someone he has appointed in spite of what he may say to the contrary. Add to that the Attorney General failing to prosecute two past FBI directors it is just a matter of time. He may wait a while to make it look good but I believe he is gone sometime this year.

I'm not so sure. I think he may stay on. I do not understand why he decided not to prosecute Andrew McCabe though, unless Durham has the goods on him.

After letting this stew for a few days it appears that Barr is in more trouble with his own DOJ than he is from Trump.
His interference with Roger Stone's sentencing has caused an uproar. Thousands of former DOJ prosecutors and judges have signed a letter of protest demanding Barr's resignation, and the Federal judges association has called an emergency meeting to discuss the issue.
If the original recommended sentence (7-9 years) is upheld Trump will go nuts...if the sentence is reduced as Barr recommends the DOJ will go nuts...stay tuned! [ 02-18-2020, 02:46 PM: Message edited by: MountainMafia ]
