He refused to press charges.

That resturant will hopefully fire her. She has no business dealing with the public and acting like that. I hope she failed to get a tip.

They should have filed charges and had her arrested.

They would have arrested me. I don’t advocate hitting ladies, but when you spit on me all bets are off. That’s as disgusting as it gets.

I feel the exact same way. Probably the maddest I've ever been was over somebody spitting in my face.
