In the past several weeks I've had calls from Trump and Obama. Calls from both men seeking governorship here in Illinois. Calls from liberals and conservatives. Calls from Republican's and calls from Democrate's.

All wanting my opinion about something. I'm pretty sure they value my opinion. I may be appointed to some important political office in the near future.

No calls so far this today.

No surprise to me. I've had several calls myself the last month or so but I doubt that I will receive any offers for important positions. You see, I hung up on most of them, and it is conceivable that it may have pissed a few of them off.

On Election day, at 5:50pm (i.e., just before the polls closed), I received a call from Associated Press. They wanted me to take a survey, and they offered me $5 for my time.

So, you guys can wait for your important positions... at least I have $5 to show for my relative value to the political world. [Big Grin]
