What the hell?

1. How do migrants, who haven't even stepped into the US, have a right to sue in the US for the right to be immigrated?

2. If anyone doesn't believe Soros is not behind this, they have their head in the sand. How in the hell would they be able to file a lawsuit in the first place, with out special interest help from some anarchist.

the very idea that these people think they can force the US to admit them is insane. Yes, I understand why they want to leave their country. I empathize with them. But that doesn't give them permission to violate our laws.

Trump made a blunder IMO when he cut our aid to those countries. China has been working hard to gain influence there, and we just helped them along. We need MORE influence, not less. We need to help them restore order and start down the path to prosperity.

If we capitulate and let China in, we will face another Cuba soon.

I disagree, Trump is handling things the way they should be handled in my opinion. These people are basically invading our country and we appear to have no recourse. I go along with building tent cities and containing them all in them until they have their hearings in our courts. Reports are that approximately 85 percent of this first caravan is young men between the ages of 15 and 45 with only a few women and children sprinkled in. We have been giving these countries millions for years and it is just not working, they leaders of the countries are not letting the funding we are giving them get down to the people and never will unless we were to occupy them, take over their government and try to get rid of a bunch of criminals.

I say let China have them if they want, just don't let them come into our country. It is time to take all foreign aid from these countries and let some other country provide financial aid if they want to throw their money away just like we have been doing for many, many years now with absolutely no return on our investment.

The days of catch and release should be over, we need to show these people we mean business and putting them in tent cities and cutting off all financial aid is the best way to get it done, nothing else seems to have worked over the past twenty plus years. We have been trying to help them restore law and order and gain prosperity for much too long now, time for the free ride to be over.

We can respectfully disagree, but I think this is Trump's blind spot. He treats everything as a business deal. Foreign affairs are most definitely not business deals.

In particular, foreign aid is not an "investment" that is expected to yield a return. It is more like buying influence, with a hint of insurance thrown in. Those are "expenses" more than "investments". The goal is to have the kind of influence that give us in the short term the ability to sway their policies. In the best case, in the long run we might help develop a stronger, more prosperous, and friendly ally.

I don't think that most foreign aid has been given with a realistic expectation of getting a return, other than the Marshall Plan to rebuild Europe following WWII. If there IS a return on investment, that is a bonus. But mainly it is more to prevent much, much larger expenses down the road if we have to intervene militarily or to prevent the loss of a 'friendly' state to a rival's sphere of influence.

We will just have to agree to disagree on our positions on the South American situation. I expect a return on our investment and we certainly aren't getting any out of those countries we have propped up for many, many years. I don't think Trump treats diplomacy as though it were a real estate deal, I think he is a wee bit smarter than that.

These migrants are basically invading our country and their governments are doing nothing to stop them. These are allies we have kept afloat for many years now and nothing seems to ever change in their countries and their internal corruption seems to get worse with every dollar our government sends them. Time to stop it in my humble opinion.
