This probably belongs in General Chat, but I'm pretty sure this forum gets more traffic. I just wonder if any of you old, or not so old, veterans remember the terms S-WAG and E-WAG. I think both terms apply to many of todays findings and conclusions.

In the IT world, we use WAG as a "Wild Ass Guess". Not sure if that is what it means in the military, or what the "S" or "E" in front might mean.
