Murray was drafted with the 7th pick to the Denver Nuggets. I was hoping that the Celtics would take him. I think he could be the rookie of the year and lead all the rookies in scoring.
Skal Labissiare drafted with the 28th pick by Phoenix but is to be traded to the Kings. I think he has a great skill set and will have a long NBA career. He did not play much basketball in high school and needs to gain muscle.
Tyler Ulis picked 34th which was the 4th pick in the 2nd round to the Phoenix Suns. I do think he will have a long career in the NBA as long as he is healthy. I doubted him when he came to Kentucky, until I saw him play his first game. I expect the Suns to trade a few of their guards away. Will be interesting to see what happens.
Alex Poythress did not get drafted. He is a very athletic player. He doesn't have that one great skill that sets him apart from the pack. I think he can have a career as a journeyman. I hope he does well. [ 06-24-2016, 07:57 AM: Message edited by: boomdaddy ]

I know that Skal has been touted by the "experts" all year as a high draft pick, but I never have understood that. If I were doing the picking, I'd have taken Ulis ahead of him. I truly believe Ulis was the best player in the draft. Had he been just a few inches taller and 50 pounds heavier, he should have been #1. I did think Murray would go higher than #7. The Nuggets got a steal, in my opinion. I'll also never believe that there were 60 players in the draft, better than Alex Poythress. Then again, I am probably a bit biased!
