DeMarcus Cousins left the Kings’ eventual loss to the Clippers Saturday night with a sore Achilles, which meant an MRI on Sunday. Here are the official results of that MRI, from the Kings’ press release:
An MRI conducted this afternoon at Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento revealed that Kings center DeMarcus Cousins sustained a right Achilles strain during the second quarter of last night’s game against the L.A. Clippers at the STAPLES Center. Cousins is listed as day-to-day going forward.

Hope he heals up soon. He now has a few more pieces of the puzzle on his team and can make the playoffs if they get things going.

They have been saying Cuz would only miss 2 games which is up now so hopefully he will pay tonight against the Suns and if not for sure Friday night against the Rockets.

Cuz is back and here how he is playing.
Through three games, Cousins averaged 22 points (.42 FG%, .741 FT%), 11 rebounds, 2.3 assists, .3 steals, 1 block and 26.1 minutes per game.
