A couple of days following Kentucky's annual Pro Day event and just three days before the basketball season unofficially begins with Big Blue Madness, a new ranking of the top 100 NBA prospects for next year's draft has been posted.
ESPN updated its list of the top 100 prospects Tuesday, with just two Wildcats — freshmen TyTy Washington and Daimion Collins — making the cut.
Washington — a 6-foot-3 point guard from Phoenix — is ranked at No. 16, just two spots outside of lottery range, on ESPN's list. Washington was the No. 14 overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Collins — a 6-foot-9 forward from Atlanta, Texas — is No. 19 on the ESPN list. He is a super-athletic, high-upside player, though he's currently listed at 202 pounds and has a thin frame for the college level. Collins was the No. 15 recruit in the 2021 class.
No other Kentucky players were listed in ESPN's top 100.
